It is significant that those who lead our nation appear to have more answers than questions. This worries me. I would feel a lot safer with more questioning and the creation of an open space for conversation. The dialogue might more easily be moved away from positional statements to exploring shared interests and then determining creative solutions in light of those interests. Until then I anticipate monologues of persuasive speeches. I shall return to the silence and listen to the Beloved.
